We all feel depressed, anxious, down, or stressed at times, but if you’ve been feeling these things a lot or even most of the time, lacking any enjoyment with nothing to look forward to, life can feel miserable. Additionally, you may not understand why you’ve been feeling this way, but know that you just don’t feel like your usual self, and you may be feeling powerless to change how you feel, or hopeless about things getting better. You might want to talk to someone about how you’re feeling but don’t want to burden friends or family, and may feel nervous or apprehensive, or embarrassed about seeking help from a counsellor or therapist.
I’ll provide you with a space in which you feel safe, and supported to explore, express and understand your feelings in confidence and without judgment, so that together we can help you find a way through them, to greater wellbeing and enjoyment, and discover the solutions to the problems and challenges in your life. I provide counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples in London (Brixton, Clapham, Streatham, and elsewhere in South West London) and online.

Why Counselling or Therapy?
We all experience difficulties in our lives, but these are often made worse by the thoughts and beliefs we have about ourselves, other people, relationships, and life in general, which inform how we think, feel and behave. Sometimes these thoughts and beliefs are unhelpful and lead us to act and feel in ways which cause suffering in our lives, but most of the time we are unaware of what we are thinking and believing, and without the help of another person can find it difficult to see or understand ourselves fully.
I’m a counsellor and therapist who will help you explore and understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviour, in order to find new ways of viewing things, leading to a happier and more fulfilling and satisfying life.
I’m a counsellor and therapist who also believes that it is through having compassion for yourself in the difficulties you experience that you will find find freedom from your pain and suffering and see change happen in yourself and your life.
Choosing a therapist or counsellor can be confusing, daunting and overwhelming, and it can be hard to know if you will feel safe and comfortable enough with someone to share with them painful and difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. That’s why I offer a free initial telephone consultation for up to 15 minutes so that you can see whether I might be the right kind of therapist for you. I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 9 years’ experience providing individual and couples therapy to help people work through and overcome a range of difficulties stopping them enjoying life and achieving their highest potential.
I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me with a diverse range of problems. As a fully-qualified psychotherapist, I am a registered member (No. 2011175859) of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, and abide by their code of ethics.
Although we can’t meet in person at this time, I can still provide you with a safe, confidential space in which to talk via Zoom, Skype, or telephone.
My usual counselling and therapy practice is within easy reach of Brixton, Herne Hill, Clapham, Stockwell, Streatham, Tooting, Vauxhall.
My fee is £65 per session for individuals and £75 per session for couples. Sessions are 50 minutes long.
I have some availability for offering a reduced fee if you work in health and social care and are a frontline worker. Please contact me so that we can discuss your situation.
