Hello and welcome.

My name is Ben, and I help people transform their relationships and their lives.

If you’re feeling anxious, depressed or stressed and lacking any enjoyment with nothing to look forward to, life can feel miserable. Additionally, you may not

understand why you’ve been feeling this way, but know that you just don’t feel like your usual self, and you may be feeling powerless to change how you feel, or hopeless about things getting better. You might want to talk to someone about how you’re feeling but don’t want to burden friends or family, and may feel nervous or apprehensive, or embarrassed about seeking help from a counsellor or therapist.

I’ll provide the safe, supportive, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore, express and understand your feelings, so that together we can help you find a way through them, so that you can feel greater

wellbeing and enjoyment, and discover the solutions to the problems and challenges in your life. I provide counselling and psychotherapy for individuals and couples in London (Brixton, Clapham, Streatham, and elsewhere in South West London) and online.

Why Counselling or Therapy?

We all experience difficulties in our lives, but these are often made worse by the ideas, assumptions and beliefs we hold about ourselves, other people, relationships, and life in general, which inform how we think, feel and behave. Most often we are unaware of these ideas, and so they go unchallenged, meaning that if they are unhelpful, we can find ourselves living in a way which causes pain and suffering.

Counselling and therapy will help you explore these assumptions and beliefs, as well as their origins, so that you can find healthier and more positive alternatives, leading to greater relationships, wellbeing and enjoyment of life. 

How I Can Help

I’m a counsellor and therapist who works with people to lift the lid on these assumptions to examine their accuracy and usefulness, and in order to explore healthier and more realistic ways of viewing ourselves and the world, which can help us to lead happier and more fulfilling and satisfying lives.

I’m a counsellor and therapist who also believes that it is through having compassion for ourselves in the difficulties we experience that we are able to work through and gain freedom from them.

Choosing the right help

Choosing the right therapist or counsellor for you can be a confusing, daunting and overwhelming experience, and it can be hard to know if you will feel safe and comfortable enough with someone to share with them painful and difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences. That’s why I offer a free initial telephone consultation for up to 15 minutes so that you can see whether I might be the right kind of therapist for you.

About me

I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist with over 9 years’ experience providing individual and couples therapy to help people work through and overcome a range of difficulties such as anxiety, depression, feeling sad, stress, obsessions, sex and relationship difficulties, low confidence/self-worth/self-esteem, loneliness or any other issue causing suffering and stopping them enjoying life and achieving their highest potential.

I work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds, coming to me with a diverse range of problems. As a fully-qualified psychotherapist, I am a registered member (No. 2011175859) of the UK Council for Psychotherapy, and abide by their code of ethics.

I have over 9 years’ experience helping people overcome and work through a range of difficulties, including;

I can also help you with any other issues or difficulties you may be experiencing, including making sense of your childhood, talking through difficult or painful past experiences, and finding direction and meaning in your life.

My location

Although we can’t meet in person at this time, I can still provide you with a safe, confidential space in which to talk via Zoom, Skype, or telephone.

My usual counselling and therapy practice is within easy reach of Brixton, Herne Hill, Clapham, Stockwell, Streatham, Tooting, Vauxhall.


My fee is £65 per session for individuals and £75 per session for couples. Sessions are 50 minutes long.

I have some availability for offering a reduced fee if you work in health and social care and are a frontline worker. Please contact me so that we can discuss your situation.
